The City of Nelsonville Finance Committee held a meeting on Monday, June 16, at 5:00 PM at City Hall.

- Fire Department awarded PEP Grant, awaiting appropriation before ordering intended equipment
- Appropriation from Economic Development Fund to pay pro-rated 2025 membership fees to become an Affiliate Member of the Athens County Economic Development Council
- Other departmental appropriation requests
- Review quotes for obtaining professional services (Treasurer vacancy starting in December)
- Tracking of other transition costs and creation of line items for accounting
- Explore stopgap funding mechanisms for transition into 2026
- Continue discussion of Comprehensive & Economic Development Plan
