May Home of the Month
May Home of the month is located on Clinton Street, Nelsonville, Ohio. The owner of this impressive home is Kevin Dotson. The home was built over 100 years ago, with authentic architecture, incredible mill work, unbelievable craftsmanship. Kevin has lived in his home since 1972. He has completed various projects such as a sunporch and a large deck with a gazebo which was added in the early 80’s. He describes his home as a place that he loves and fills it full of antiques. The pride he takes in his home shines and is reflected through the appearance of the home.
The City of Nelsonville’s Home of the Month program recognizes residents for their efforts to maintain the exterior of their home in good condition. The Program was established to reward residential properties that contribute to the overall appearance of the City of Nelsonville. Residents of single-family homes, duplexes, and townhomes within the City of Nelsonville are eligible to apply. The winner will receive a certificate of appreciation and a $25.00 gift certificate from Nelsonville Savings Hardware.

Mill Street Partial Closure
Monday, May 4 & Tuesday, May 5, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
From Poling Ave. to Kontner Street
The City of Nelsonville announces that Mill Street will be closed from Poling Avenue to Kontner Street, Monday, May 4, 2020 and Tuesday, May 5, 2020. The roadway will be closed each day from 7:00AM until 6:00PM. The roadway is being closed for an R&R Pipeline gas line repair project, weather permitting.

Utility Committee VIRTUAL Meeting

The Nelsonville City Council Utility Committee will meet via virtual meeting Monday, May 4, 2020 at 7 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss unused water taps in Buchtel and the 2021 trash contract. The public may not attend the meeting in person.
Burr Oak Blvd. Partial Closure

From West High Street to C&J Tax Services
The City of Nelsonville announces that Burr Oak Boulevard will be closed from West High Street to C&J Tax Services, Monday, May 4, 2020 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. The roadway is being closed to allow crews to safely cut the grass along the roadway. Please avoid this area.
Boil Order Canceled
The City of Nelsonville Water Department has canceled the boil order for State Route 691, Elm Rock Road, Kimberly Road and East Canal Street from the “Y” to State Route 691.
